Lizzy is an independent creative with a passion for emotive, authentic and memorable storytelling. Her creative experience is multi-genre; from quirky comedy, cinematic realism, to magical realism and conceptual films. She loves to support directors and producers in the creative development and pitch process whilst viewing scripts through an emotive lens, a keen eye on casting loveable, multi-dimensional characters and a humanistic approach to story-telling. Creating meaningful connections between the characters, their stories and the audience. She has a passion for detailed art direction, stunning cinematography and richly layered films. As well as playful and imaginative universes on the fantasy end of the scale.
During the span of her twenty year career in the creative industries she has had the pleasure of working alongside numerous award-winning and legendary directors, as well as emerging talent, globally. Lizzy spent her early career in advertising as an Art Director at JWT Digital London where she worked with global brands, bringing her signature energy of playfulness and sophisticated, visual sensibilities. To pursue her passion for visual storytelling she went to film school which led her to shooting and editing brand films and content. Looking to grow within the film world she went onto assist some of the worlds leading image makers. Namely, Rankin and Ringan Ledwidge (amongst many others) in the film treatment / pitch process. Since the early days Lizzy has worked on a multitude of film / creative projects and continues to be a passionate storyteller.
In the wake of the A.I age Lizzy has adopted the technology by training a private Mid Journey bot to ensure her presence in this field holds integrity and privacy. She holds the belief that A.I can be a useful ‘tool’ in the creative development of conceptual ideas (fantasy locations, wardrobe, art direction, fantastical scenes & concepts etc). Yet storytelling is and always will be innately human and requires sentience and soul. And that the creative industries / film craft will always be humanistic at it’s core. Lizzy prompts AI with positive commands ensuring to respect the work of artists and only input creativity with good intention into the field.
